Equity and Executive Compensation Director
What You Will Do
- Design and analyze executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, and long-term equity.
- Deliver equity programs end-to-end, including grant processes (RSUs, PSUs), performance tracking, and budget management.
- Administer executive compensation plans.
- Conduct benchmarking, modeling, and market analysis to assess competitiveness of equity pay programs.
- Translate complex data into clear insights to support compensation decisions and pay-for-performance alignment.
- Support the Board and Compensation Committee, preparing and coordinating quarterly materials in partnership with external consultants, the Director of Compensation, and VP Total Rewards and Legal.
- Manage timelines, data inputs, and stakeholder alignment for Compensation Committee deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
- Support executive compensation disclosures, including proxy materials and internal reporting.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and external advisors on governance and risk management.
- Partner with Compensation Operations to execute compensation processes accurately and at scale.
- Maintain data integrity across systems, models, and reports.
- Support audits, documentation, and continuous improvement of compensation programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, and senior stakeholders.
- Communicate complex compensation topics clearly and effectively.

Compensation
MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is: $118,000—$231,000 USD.
