Equipment Technician - NICU -Per Diem Weekend Day

Responsibilities

• Clean and assemble mechanical ventilators and prepare them for calibration.
• Clean, assemble, and check all minor therapeutic and diagnostic equipment and make it available for use.
• Perform inventory of disposable supplies, order necessary supplies from the storeroom, and coordinate the stocking of disposable respiratory therapy supplies.
• Refer inventory of non-storeroom supplies to the Supervisor.
• Maintain and clean all equipment used for deliveries and restock in compliance with infection control standards, storing equipment safely.
• Maintain inventory of essential supplies.
• Maintain a clean supply storage area according to New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services regulations.
• Keep Manager/Supervisor informed of equipment/supply needs.
• Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

Requirements

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.

Pay

Minimum starting rate of $19.65 per hour. The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package. The base compensation may vary based on factors including labor market data, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget or grant funding.
