Primary Responsibilities
- Performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing defective parts.
- Troubleshoots electromechanical issues on multi station robotic manufacturing equipment, cutting tables, vacuum tables, Appleton transporters, often using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Works with maintenance and engineering to assemble, install, and test new equipment and systems.
- Maintain logs in SAP, reports, and records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Ensures all work complies with safety regulations and provides training or assistance to other staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitors compliance.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Works efficiently in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workflows.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certifications or an associate's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of various equipment systems, such as automated mechanical systems, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
- Basic maintenance and mechanical knowledge and aptitude with a good understanding of general manufacturing equipment.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a team setting.
- Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Working knowledge of industrial safe work practices.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow set schedules unsupervised.
- Composite industry experience is a plus.
- SAP working knowledge.
- Computer competency.
