Equipment Technician - Advanced Packaging

About the role

An Equipment Technician within the Advanced Packaging Technology Development (APTD) department responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing equipment used in semiconductor packaging and interconnects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tool performance
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment
• Dismantle, repair, and modify equipment based on engineering directions
• Ensure optimal operation of manufacturing tools
• Use diagnostic and test equipment
• Interpret blueprints and manuals
• Perform system rebuilds to support production needs

Physical Tasks

• Standing, walking, crouching, working in confined spaces
• Using hand tools
• Potential requirement to wear a respirator

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent military experience
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, electronics, and basic mathematics
• Proficiency in PC skills including MS Office and understanding of SPC principles

Preferred Skills

• Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance and repair
• BS in EET
