Equipment Tech

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all inspection equipment in all program environments as needed
• Travel to various program locations to troubleshoot equipment and analyze relevant documentation to determine the cause of malfunctions in major test equipment, test setups, and test procedures
• Perform maintenance and overhaul of instruments and equipment. Ensure that all preventive maintenance, calibration, and vehicle maintenance schedules are met
• Maintain inventory and requisition supplies as needed
• Complete the necessary paperwork, report on assigned work, and assist in the completion of records, reports, and other test documents
• Provide Inspection Facility Management with a telephone consultation regarding immediate problems
• Provide support to State audit teams as needed
• Perform other tasks as required by the Systems Support Manager
• Travel to visit all program inspection facilities as needed
• Other duties as assigned
