Equipment Tech
About the Role
Trinity Health Alert has an opportunity for a part-time Equipment Technician to install, service, and remove medical equipment in client homes throughout our service area. This includes personal emergency response systems, tele homecare systems, and medication dispensers. The position is 1-2 days a week, 4-8 hours per day, and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and values flexibility.
You will teach seniors how to use the equipment, including taking vitals and operating emergency response buttons. A reliable vehicle is required; mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate.
Responsibilities
- Install personal emergency response systems, tele homecare systems, and medication dispensers in client homes.
- Conduct service calls and removals of equipment.
- Teach seniors how to use the equipment, including taking vitals and operating emergency response buttons.
- Travel throughout the service area using your own reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
Requirements
- Must have a valid NYS Driver's license.
- Own a reliable vehicle.
- Enjoy working with seniors and demonstrate patience.
Pay
Flat rate of $20.00 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rate. The pay range may vary based on location.
