Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an inventory of Ground Support Equipment (GSE), ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and accountability of assets across operational locations.
- Cookout transportation, delivery, recovery, and movement of equipment between stations, airports, vendors, and maintenance facilities to support operational requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to verify operational readiness, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Report equipment malfunctions, damage, and maintenance needs, while coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance activities with internal teams and external service providers.
- Maintain accurate records related to equipment inventories, inspections, maintenance activities, transfers, and asset status using company tracking systems.
- Prepare and distribute reports on equipment performance, inventory levels, maintenance status, and operational issues to management.
- Support daily aviation operations by ensuring GSE is available, properly maintained, and positioned to meet customer and operational demands.
- Adhere to all company policies, airport regulations, safety procedures, and applicable FAA, OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of equipment management, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree in Aviation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in aviation operations, ground support equipment (GSE), logistics, fleet management, equipment management, or a related operational environment preferred.
- Knowledge of Ground Support Equipment, asset tracking, inventory control, maintenance coordination, and aviation operational processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using inventory, asset tracking, or maintenance management systems.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to obtain and maintain required airport security credentials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in indoor and outdoor operational environments as needed.
