Equipment Solutions Intern - Minneapolis

As an Equipment Solutions Intern, you’ll provide administrative and analytical support to the critical work of the Equipment Solutions team, which supports construction projects by supplying high-quality equipment rentals and innovative site services.
You’ll get hands-on experience right away, working alongside project teams and partners to keep things moving, solve real problems, stay organized, communicate across teams, and make an impact from day one while building the foundation for your career.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Management – planning and procurement of equipment utilized during the construction process, including processing equipment requests/transactions (internal and third-party rentals), logistical coordination, and billing
- System/Software management – exposure to the various software used to manage equipment and process equipment rentals
- Procurement – assistance with receiving support, contract document management, and consumable purchasing
- Exposure to crane selection and sourcing, including sizing equipment, evaluating rental options, and soliciting vendor bids
- Exposure to equipment facility and construction field operations

Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous related internship experience
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior
- Basic understanding of construction and generally accepted business practices
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Initiative and leadership abilities
- Positive and professional attitude with solid customer service skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple competing priorities
Pay
The hourly wage for college interns starts at $18. Students may be paid higher wages based on their year in school.
Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
