Ideal Candidate Profile
- A self-starter who can excel with little supervision.
- Qualified to and does all repairs and maintenance work on automotive and utility work equipment including hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic driven components and equipment.
- Qualified to work safely in a shop environment and obey all OSHA regulations.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in remote areas in all types of weather conditions.
- Possess a safe driving record.
Responsibilities
- Repair of all types of mobile equipment and tools, to include all light, medium and heavy duty gas and diesel engine equipment.
- Repair of hydraulic operated aerial and man lift devices.
- Performance of the SAP PM program to minimize equipment downtime and unexpected cost.
- Overseeing of vendors to ensure repairs are done to Pacificorp standards.
- Processing of billing to ensure timely vendor payment.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
- Must be a Journeyman Equipment Serviceman; or have 5 years verifiable automotive mechanic experience.
- Must pass a Rocky Mountain Power Journeyman Mechanic test, provided by the company.
- Must possess or able to obtain a class A CDL license within 90 days of hire.
- Must supply own hand tools common for journeyman mechanics.
Preferences
- Derrick and aerial equipment repair experience.
