Equipment Service Co-op/Intern - Summer 2027

Role Overview: This position involves supporting equipment and die maintenance, focusing on safety procedures, quality policies, root cause analysis, preventative maintenance, and response to production downtime. Key Responsibilities Assist with multi-disciplinary projects including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and facilities maintenance.Support welding activities, line inspections, and equipment repairs using shop tools.Participate in fabrication, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs across various departments such as paint, stamping, and building maintenance.Work alongside experienced technicians and gain hands-on experience in industrial systems. Qualifications & Skills Enrolled in an associate degree or certificate program in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Welding, or related fields.Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial safety, and math; familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, industrial networking, robotics, AutoCAD, and welding is preferred.Strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and ability to work a minimum of three days per week.Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation.
