Equipment Sanitation- 12 Hour Nights (6:00pm - 6:30am)

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning circuits, set up, and perform pipe swings
• In Fairport facility: Check proper chlorine levels at coolers; Perform cream tank receiving, maintenance, and cleaning; Maintain chemical equipment and deliver chemicals as requested; Clean drains, traps, and caps per scheduled cleaning and as needed; Perform standardized cleaning and procedures with caustic and other cleaning chemicals and assist with part changeovers; Inspect all areas to ensure AIB standards are met and report any unresolved concerns to management; Complete MSS as assigned for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks in Redzone
• Work in a safe manner, adhering to company safety rules and regulations
• Report food safety and quality issues to personnel with authority to take action

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• LO/TO, HAACP, HECP, and chemical training required
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses, and leather skid-resistant work shoes/boots)
• Ability to wear additional PPE while participating in a CIP (chemical suit and boots and face shield) if necessary
• Previous experience working with chemicals, preferred but not required
• Ability to apply computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
