About the role

Are you someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers find the right equipment for the job? Do you take pride in understanding how equipment works and helping customers get the most out of their investment? Acme Tools is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Equipment Sales Specialist to join our team in Bismarck, ND.

Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships with contractors, farmers, construction professionals, and individual customers
  • Absorbing equipment selection assistance, including Kubota equipment and other equipment brands offered by Acme Tools
  • Conducting equipment demonstrations and guiding customers through start-up procedures
  • Preparing quotes for equipment purchases
  • Following up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and support long-term relationships
  • Responding to incoming calls, internet leads, and in-store inquiries
  • Entering and maintaining accurate sales orders and customer records
  • Actively identifying new business opportunities through customer relationships, community involvement, and local events
  • Participating in store events, trade shows, and community outreach opportunities
  • Supporting store operations as needed while maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Experience in equipment sales, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, or related industries preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of customers
  • A consultative sales approach focused on helping customers find the right solution
  • Interest in or familiarity with equipment such as tractors, compact equipment, or power equipment
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple customer relationships
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Availability to work a rotating Saturday schedule

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
