Equipment Reprocessor (GI Lab)

About the role

The Equipment Reprocessor position at ANCC Magnet designated UPMC Passavant supports the GI Lab at the McCandless location.

Shift Details

- Monday-Friday - 8-hour shifts with variable start time between 6am and 8:30am - Weekends and holidays off

Responsibilities

- Demonstrate accurate cleaning and disinfection procedures for all endoscopes and accessories. - Adhere to universal infection control guidelines when cleaning and disinfecting scopes and accessories. - Contribute to an efficient work and team environment. - Assume responsibility for own development. - Maintain unit standards of quality control and safety. - Demonstrate proper handling techniques for scopes and accessories. - Contribute to maintaining a neat, clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required. - Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician or other medical specialty such as Central Service Technician preferred.
