Responsibilities
As a Mechanic/Repair Technician at Total Tool, you will inspect, diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical tools and equipment, helping ensure they remain safe, reliable, and job-site ready. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and battery-powered tools, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, gas-powered equipment, generators, and rigging equipment
- Determine replacement parts to efficiently repair equipment
- Test repaired equipment once completed
- Provide customers with high-quality repairs and demonstrate a sense of urgency to complete the repair
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working on small engines and/or tool repair -- preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and take initiative
- An exceptional work ethic
- Excellent customer service skills

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this role is $23-$26 per hour, based on experience. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this role include:
- Ability to stand on a hard surface for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a daily basis
