Responsibilities
- Operates, maintains, and performs minor upgrade projects on mechanical systems, including monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual preventative maintenance (PMs).
- Fixes operational and maintenance issues on mechanical systems.
- Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.
- Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems.
- Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and performs required duties.
- Resolves nonstandard problems with some degree of judgment; receives general instructions and reviews of job plans for all work.
Requirements
- Knowledge of mechanical systems such as exhaust, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and compressors.
- Experience performing general industrial mechanical work, including instrument calibrations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with organization and time management skills.
- Able to adhere to a stringent environmental compliance culture.
- Willing to work a compressed workweek schedule.
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments, wear PPE (including air-supplied respirators, coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves).
- Operate a PIT forklift, pallet jack, and work in a mobile environment for a considerable part of the day.
- Must have HVAC certification.
Preferences
- 1 to 3 years of experience in facilities, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
Physical Demands
- May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day and be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time.
- Ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, and on ladders.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay
$23.00 per hour.
Schedule
Compressed schedule with 12-hour shifts.
