Equipment Planner, Spare Parts
Role Description
Form Energy is hiring an equipment planner to develop, implement, and maintain an effective spare parts program. This role reports into our Equipment Maintenance Manager. What You'll Do
- Build and implement a comprehensive spare parts program for production, maintenance, and facilities equipment
- Identify critical, insurance, and consumable spare parts based on asset criticality and failure history
- Maintain accurate spare parts inventory records, including quantities, locations, and usage history
- Track spare parts consumption and adjust min/max levels to ensure availability while minimizing excess inventory
- Generate and manage spare parts quotes from vendors and suppliers
- Identify and track cost savings opportunities through standardization, supplier consolidation, and inventory optimization
What You'll Bring
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in spare parts planning, inventory management, maintenance planning, or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability concepts
- Experience working with CMMS and/or ERP systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance, operations, engineering, and procurement
Where You'll Work
This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing.
