About the role
This position involves ensuring HS&E policies are adhered to, conducting JSEAs, performing rigging duties, operating and maintaining various types of equipment, and representing the company ethically.
Responsibilities
- Comply with HS&E policies and regulations
- Maintain equipment efficiency and readiness
- Conduct JSEAs in compliance with Company regulations
- Perform rigging up and down duties
- Operate and maintain equipment such as bulk sand trailers, cement bulk body load units, field bins, and semi-trailers
- Safely perform duties including fueling trucks, acting as a fire watch, serving as a gate guard, and assisting with clean-up
- Work safely with PPE and emphasize safety for self and others
- Represent the company with integrity and adhere to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Successfully complete pulmonary function testing
- Wear prescribed PPE, including a respirator
- Work well with others and independently
- Communicate clearly, read/write/speak English, and follow directions
- Perform simple math calculations and use basic computer skills
- Operate and maintain equipment safely, work extended schedules, and travel as needed
- Work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines, including emergency response situations
- Perform tasks involving bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crawling, walking on uneven surfaces, and climbing equipment ladders/stairs
- Be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle, and meet the requirements of the Company’s vehicle program, policy, and/or guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- At least 18 years old
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Minimum experience:
- Internal Applicants: 6+ months as Equipment Operator Trainee, successfully meeting all competency requirements
- External Applicants: 6+ months as Equipment Operator in fracturing industry
- Level 1: 6+ months as Equipment Operator 1, successfully meeting all competency requirements
- Level 2: 6+ months as Equipment Operator 2, successfully meeting all competency requirements
- Level 3: 6+ months as Equipment Operator 3, successfully meeting all competency requirements
- Level 4: 2+ years as Equipment Operator in fracturing industry, 2+ years repair and maintenance of heavy equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Familiarity with oilfield equipment
- Experience in repair and maintenance of heavy equipment
