They are developing a new generation of purpose-built electric vehicles with an emphasis on simplicity, modular design, and customer customisation.They are looking for an Equipment Operator - Grounds Maintenance to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be located in California City, CA, USA. Job Description: Proving Ground maintenanceLandscaping: maintain irrigation, planting, trimming, etc.Perform scheduled track maintenance on both paved and dirt tracksEquipment operation and labour support for construction/maintenance projectsAbility to safely operate light power equipment such as track blower, post hole digger, jack hammer, etc. Basic equipment operation skillsAbility and knowledge to work safely with and around heavy equipmentWork autonomously with minimal directionAbides by and acknowledges all safety practices in keeping with high safety standardsSupport CPG events and testing - Setup, clean, and operate test venues Educational Requirements: High school Diploma or equivalent Related Experience Requirements: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in maintenance and facility operations5+ years of demonstrated experience with hand tools and safe useClean driving record and ability to drive an automatic vehicleMust be available to work any shiftRequires standing, bending, and lifting (Up to 50 pounds) for approximately 8 hours on a daily basis2+ years of demonstrated experience in heavy equipment operations Required Skills and Knowledge: Ability to use the necessary tools and equipment in a safe mannerAbility to track work and properly fill out work ordersAbility to work with dynamic responsibility changesExcellent written communication and presentation skillsFlexibility in assignments Why work through Contechs?
