Equipment Operator (CDL Preferred) | Line Clearance

Location: Carrollton / Carroll County, Ohio – on-site role.

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Equipment / Jarraff / SkyTrim Operator to join our team of utility line-clearance professionals servicing the Carrollton, Ohio region.

Responsibilities

• Operate Jarraff / SkyTrim mobile equipment on utility right-of-way.
• Ensure equipment and crew safety while removing trees on utility right-of-way.
• Assist in all job functions as a member of the crew.

Requirements

• Love of the outdoors.
• Minimum of two (2) years mobile equipment operating experience and training (preferred).
• Ability to pass a mobile equipment operations certification test.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement) preferred.
• Line clearance experience or other related tree work preferred.
• Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law, preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional preferred.

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $22.00 – $28.00, based on line-clearance / industry experience and CDL status.
