Equipment Operator (CDL Preferred) | Line Clearance

Position Overview

We are currently looking to add a dynamic Equipment / Jarraff / SkyTrim Operator to our passionate team of utility line clearance professionals who will be joining a team servicing the Guernsey and Tuscarawas County, Ohio regions which includes: Cambridge, Dover, and New Philadelphia.

Job Duties

• Operate Jarraff / SkyTrim mobile equipment on utility right-of-way
• Responsible for equipment and crew safety when removing trees on utility right-of-way
• Aid in all job functions as a member of the crew

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors
• Minimum of two (2) years mobile equipment operating experience and training providing the necessary operations skills, knowledge and abilities is required
• Ability to pass a mobile equipment operations certification test
• Completion of Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
• Completion of Davey Tree First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire
• Valid driver's license
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement
• Preferred: Line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Profession

• Hourly pay rate $22.00 – 28.00 based on line clearance / industry experience and if a CDL holder.
