About the role
We are hiring an Equipment Operator to work at our Halfway Facility in Carlsbad, NM. This is a local job with no travel and no per diem. For out-of-city applicants, we provide housing/man camps.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, ADT haul trucks, etc.
- Assist the team in day-to-day operations of the facility.
- Monitor and maintain the customer truck wash rack, run 6X6 diesel-driven pumps, oil skimming, and assist with customer off-loading.
- Perform tank, pump, and well maintenance along with basic labor and cleaning duties.
- Run reports and monitor oilfield waste treatment operations.
Previous experience as a mechanic, working on mechanical systems, or large plant maintenance is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Heavy equipment experience
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Basic computer skills
Pay
$70,000–$80,000+ DOE ($21–$24+/hr).
Schedule
- Day Shift or Night Shift position
- Local rotation: 6 days on, 3 days off
- Out-of-city rotation: 14 days on, 7 days off
- Working hours: 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM
