Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment including front-end loaders, knuckle booms, bulldozers, wheel loaders, and all-terrain forklifts
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
• Read and follow job specifications to make necessary adjustments and manage material requirements
• Complete daily equipment reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience using heavy equipment and front-end loaders
• High school diploma or equivalent, with ability to read, write, and understand numerical values
• Able to work safely in a busy mulch yard, performing tasks with precision
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and using fall protection equipment
• Able to work in sometimes dusty, hot, and/or cold working conditions
• Able to sit for extended periods, climb up and down from cab heights, and work effectively in extreme outdoor climates
• Think independently while functioning in a team environment
