FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00pm-10:30pm)
Employment Category: Full Time Temporary
Pay Range: $20.00-22.00/Hr

Responsibilities

  • Aid in all areas of the Beverage Plant
  • Coordinate daily production needs with supervisors and inventory managers in loading/unloading trailers and production work
  • Operate Beverage Plant equipment
  • Monitor and log equipment values and parameters
  • Track correct materials for all production requirements
  • Unload and prepare ingredients for daily processing
  • Complete changeovers, CIP’s, PMs, clean and sanitize tools/equipment as directed
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults as required
  • Maintain equipment according to company health and safety regulations
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform regular safety checks on equipment
  • Maintain activity logs
  • Train new personnel on proper operational procedures
  • Support food safety, legality, and quality programs
  • Experience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven, reliable work history
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Pro-active mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions
  • Proven experience operating machinery
  • Mechanical knowledge of automated machines and tools
  • Experience conducting quality tests and analyzing data
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • One to two years’ experience as an Equipment Operator in a similar production environment preferred
  • Forklift certification

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended period of time
  • Must be able to work in freezer and cold, wet or humid conditions

Hours & Workdays

2nd Shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory.
