Equipment Operations Specialist

About the role

This role supports the management of a large and diverse fleet of construction equipment and vehicles supporting multiple active construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment and vehicle requests from project team
• Cookordinate equipment rentals with vendors and rental providers
• Schedule deliveries, transfers between jobs, and equipment returns
• Track rental durations and proactively manage off-rent dates
• Assist with equipment purchasing, vendor quotes, and order tracking
• Maintain Excel tracking logs for rentals, purchases, and asset locations
• Support onboarding of new equipment including documentation and asset entry
• Aid in developing equipment request procedures and SOPs
• Maintain vendor catalogs and equipment supplier contacts
• Support field teams with the equipment request and purchasing process
• Aid in rental invoice reconciliation and cost tracking

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in construction equipment, fleet operations, equipment rentals, or construction equipment operations
• Working knowledge of construction equipment and jobsite operations
• Strong MS Excel skills and data entry/tracking skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple requests across multiple projects

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred

• Strong communication (verbal and written) and follow-up skills
