Equipment Operator

About the role

We are an excavation and site utilities company based in Middle Tennessee. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about their work and eager to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a morning inspection of your equipment
• Fuel and grease your equipment daily
• Order repairs and maintenance when required
• Report to your foreman for direction and responsibilities
• Operate a Dozer, Excavator, Wheel Loader, and Skid Steer
• Construct building pads to the correct elevations
• Slope utility ditches for pipe crew
• Slope ponds to match plan elevations
• Finish grade sidewalks and road sub-grades
• Be familiar with TopCon GPS machine control (a plus)
• Pass an OSHA safety knowledge test (training provided)
• Show knowledge of codes and construction processes

• Ability to bench or slope utility ditches for pipe crew
• Ability to construct building pads to the correct elevations
• Ability to finish grade sidewalks and road sub-grades
• Ability to slope ponds to match plan elevations
• Familiarity with TopCon GPS machine control (a plus)
• OSHA safety knowledge (training provided)
• Knowledge of codes and construction processes
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
