Equipment Mover- Lowbed Driver

About the role

Pike Industries, Inc., a subsidiary and integral part of CRH, is seeking an Equipment Mover-Lowbed Driver to join our team. This position drives a tractor trailer truck with trailer to transport equipment throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading construction equipment, making pick-ups or deliveries to vendors, and maintaining the vehicle while adhering to all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor trailer truck with trailer to transport equipment throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
• Load and unload construction equipment (Pavers, Rollers, Loaders, Skid Steer, etc.).
• Make pick-ups or deliveries to vendors when necessary.
• Maintain vehicle while operating within all State and Federal regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience driving a lowbed truck.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and operation.
• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid CDL (Class A) with a good driving record.

Skills

• Proficient in operating a lowbed truck.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols.

Pay

$31.00/hour to $35.00/hour depending on experience. Overtime after 8 hours is $10.00/hour. Shift differential applies.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate project needs.
