Equipment Mechanic

About the role

Blakeley BoatWorks is a full-service shipyard located on 26 acres, equipped with a 1,900-short-ton capacity floating dry dock and a 660-short-ton Travelift. The Equipment Mechanic is part of a team responsible for maintaining various types of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of small engine repair on telehandlers, manlifts, air compressors, and welding machines.
• Electrical and hydraulic system troubleshooting.
• Safety practices adherence.

Requirements

• Experience in equipment maintenance and repair on telehandlers, manlifts, air compressors, and welding machines.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Dedication to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Grove cranes, Manitowoc cranes, and marine travel lifts is preferred but not required.
