Equipment Manager
About the role
We are seeking detail-oriented professionals who excel at maintaining and tracking equipment in a manufacturing and engineering environment. Our team ensures equipment readiness, accurate documentation, and compliance with quality standards, supporting efficient operations across all facility functions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of calibrated equipment, tools, and measurement devices, including tagging, labeling, and database entry in asset management systems.
- Track calibration due dates and coordinate scheduling with internal or external vendors to ensure equipment is not used out-of-calibration.
- Organize and maintain equipment storage areas, tool cribs, and calibration staging areas according to 5S standards and FOD control requirements.
- Generate and maintain calibration records, equipment history logs, and out-of-service documentation in alignment with quality procedures.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in equipment management, calibration coordination, tool crib operations, or a related role in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Demonstrated experience with calibrated equipment tracking or inventory management systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum (export control requirement).
