Equipment Manager
Job Description
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all construction equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for Equipment department
Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, including usage, maintenance, and repair histories.
Ensure all equipment meets safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating equipment repairs with Operations management.
Tracks all rental equipment, solicit from multiple dealers to get the best prices, schedule in/out dates with Operations Management.
Manage the equipment budget, including forecasting costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Address and resolve equipment-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and project delays.
Establish and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers.

Qualifications
- At a minimum, the Equipment Manager must have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or related field of study along with at least 10+ years of related equipment logistics experience in the construction industry, proven knowledge of construction equipment, maintenance practices, and safety regulations, proficient with inventory management software and tools, and a valid and current driver’s license OR a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 14+ years of related equipment logistic experience in the construction industry, proven knowledge of construction equipment, maintenance practices, and safety regulations, proficient with inventory management software and tools, and a valid and current driver’s license.
- Certification in Equipment Management is preferred.
