Equipment Maintenance Technician (Semiconductor Wafer Fab)

About the role

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician to support their manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. This position offers development opportunities within a leader in high-performance analog semiconductor design and manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and corrective maintenance of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom.
• Maintain equipment in one or more Wafer Fab functional areas such as Diffusion/LPCVD, EPI, Etch, or Thin Films.
• Work with pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems.
• Interpret and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose, test, and repair equipment using electrical repair procedures.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.

Requirements

• Education: AS or AA in electronics, electrical, mechanical engineering or military training in electronics, avionics, or nuclear power support.
• Experience: 3+ years maintaining equipment in one or more Wafer Fab functional areas.
• Skills: Strong mechanical and electronic skills, knowledge of basic operating systems, problem-solving ability, and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Schedule

Compressed work week, 3 days- 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Day and night shift options available.
