Job Summary

Catalent’s Chelsea, Massachusetts site supports inhalation drug products from clinical development through commercial launch. The site provides integrated services such as powder processing, capsule filling, blister packaging, and on-site quality control and analytical testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for validation, calibration, and preventative maintenance of all GMP equipment and systems
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, pneumatic, and control system issues on GMP equipment
  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Execute equipment-related work orders in support of Operations
  • Manage and order equipment spare parts inventory
  • Troubleshoot problems during equipment set-up and change-over
  • Assist in design and implementation of engineering controls
  • Assist process engineers as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) experience
  • Basic to moderate computer skills, including e-mail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer, and preventative maintenance software
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs. required
  • Experience in service and repair of electrical equipment and systems
  • Experience in service and repair of mechanical equipment and systems preferred
  • Understanding of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems preferred

Pay

The anticipated hourly rate for this position in MA is $33.65 – $40.87 Plus Bonus. The final hourly rate offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
