Equipment & Inventory Technician

About the Role

Part Time Equipment & Inventory Technician for our New Hanover Franchise located in Wilmington, NC. You will work with restoration technicians to maintain warehouse operations, equipment, and facility upkeep while following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize materials and items in the warehouse, including inventory tasks
• Handle and execute shipping operations
• Maintain, clean, and repair assets for use in the warehouse and field
• Maintain, clean, and organize the warehouse, grounds, restrooms, hallways, and offices as assigned
• Oversee facility maintenance
• Ensure clear two-way communication with operations manager, production managers, office team, crew chiefs, and production technicians
• Continue development of production skills and expertise of services, cleaning products, and equipment knowledge
• Understand and utilize all safety and risk management guidelines in the warehouse, office, grounds, job site, and while traveling
• Clean equipment, organize warehouse, repair broken fans and dehumidifiers, and perform other miscellaneous warehouse duties

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
