Equipment Inventory Technician
Job Summary
The Equipment Technician is responsible for ensuring MME (mobile medical equipment) within their given facility is being properly managed daily through close collaboration with the equipment coordinator, supply chain and/or clinical leaders. The equipment technician will also oversee the daily tactical activities of equipment to replenish PARs, respond to clinical needs, and utilize available tools to perform daily work.
Qualifications
- Responsible for assisting the equipment coordinator and/or supply chain director in performing equipment management functions on a daily basis.
- Responds in a timely manner to all requests from facility clinical staff regarding rental equipment and/or equipment needs.
- Captures and maintains all paperwork related to equipment, including entry and exit forms, and rental invoices.
- Aids in managing all rental equipment requests and returns within a consolidated service center or facility.
- Aids in reviewing, auditing, and retaining all monthly rental reports and invoices, and reports any discrepancies to the facility Supply Chain Director (SCD), Supply Chain COO, and/or designee.
- Ensures all rental equipment is returned properly and in a timely manner as outlined.
