Equipment Field Mechanic

Join Trumbull Corporation, a recognized leader in heavy civil and highway construction, and help shape the infrastructure that moves our region forward. We're seeking a talented Equipment Field Mechanic to support a major construction project in the Washington, D.C. area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of earthmoving equipment;
• Order equipment repair parts utilizing a formal purchase order system;
• Complete service work as required;
• Prepare and complete service documentation;
• Utilize laptop computer and software programs for information and diagnostic purposes;
• Work in a safe manner and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED;
• At least five (5) years of experience as an equipment mechanic;
• The ability to be a self-starter and work independently on a regular basis;
• Willingness to work overtime and varying shifts;
• Must be computer-literate;
• Must be a hands-on team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and the ability to work in any kind of weather conditions.
