Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Military Experience in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field)
  • 1-3 years of experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment engineering technician role
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, troubleshooting, calibration, and Mil standard knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and calibration
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical equipment relationships
  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Basic communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Basic Microsoft Skills: Word, Excel, Email
  • Critical Thinking ability, risk-taking, out-of-the-box thinker
  • Fast learner, willingness to take initiative
  • Eager to learn, energetic, accept constructive feedback and apply it
  • Strong work ethic and accountability

  • Experience with Digital Multimeters, Digital Voltmeter, Oscilloscopes, Amp Meters, Leak Detectors, etc.

Work Environment

  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Schedule: This position is for second shift and will require 6-12 months of day shift training (6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). Second shift hours will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Ability to work a standard 40-hour work week with occasional overtime.

Pay

The wage range for this position in Leominster, MA is a minimum of $80,500 per year to a maximum of $110,700 per year. In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
