Responsibilities
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, blueprints, drawings, and operating or repair manuals.
- Performs preventive and routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment following work instructions and manufacturer manuals.
- Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to all production equipment in a specific area.
- Performs electrical/mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical production equipment used in the Fab.
- Performs set-up, calibration, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Rebuild and repair manufacturing equipment as required.
- Works on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community.
- Opportunity to participate as a contributing member of the Emergency Response Team.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology (or similar discipline), or a HS diploma with equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a production and/or faced pace environment.
- Experience with common hand tools as well as various electronic instruments.
- Able to lift heavy objects, such as pumps during removal and installation.
- Passes respiratory protection medical surveillance examination.
- Has in-depth knowledge, understanding, and support of manufacturing process.
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to work the overnight and compressed shift.
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
