About the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineering Tech 3 at MKS, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes. You will collaborate closely with Technical Operations to ensure that equipment issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Support the manufacturing floor by responding to unscheduled equipment issues and performing Preventative Maintenance requirements.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions to validate and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and PM requirements.
- Manage lab and critical spare parts inventory at multiple MKS sites, analyzing part storage for automation and improvement opportunities.
- Aid in the shipping and receiving of parts for equipment builds and critical spares, supporting the manufacturing floor at multiple sites.
- Assist with production printer management across multiple sites, implementing and maintaining a PM process for printers on the manufacturing floor.
- Maintain database accuracy and up-to-date records, assisting in the analysis of data/records for improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- An AA degree, military technical training, equivalent vocational training, or related on-the-job experience.
- 2+ years’ experience with parts management (procurement, shipping/receiving, inventory).
- Relative experience in a technician role assisting with repair and/or maintenance.
- Ability to collect and analyze basic experimental data and effectively communicate results.
- Demonstrated work experience with MS Office products, including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with PM and/or inventory database a plus.

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $37.50 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience, and training. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS.
