Responsibilities
- Coaches and supports other maintenance personnel within the organization.
- Organizes equipment spares and tracks usage to ensure no line-down situations.
- Produces and maintains Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Oversees modifications and upgrades of process equipment tools.
- Provides technical support in production equipment repairs.
- Maintains and tracks equipment downtime, failure modes, and spares inventory.
- Interfaces with vendors and contractors for tool installations, upgrades, maintenance, and modifications.
- Writes relevant documentation such as maintenance and recovery procedures.
- Carries out Fingerprinting, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Specific Process Control (SPC) charts on equipment.
- Carries out Fingerprinting, FMEA, and SPC charts on equipment.
- Carries out Fingerprinting, FMEA, and SPC charts on equipment.
- Responsible for new tool purchases/installations and equipment upgrade specifications.
Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of high-power diode lasers and high-vacuum systems (e.g., MBE, PVD, MOCVD, Ion Beam Deposition, Sputter, Evaporation).
- Strong technical and communication skills.
- Proven track record of success in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Physically capable of performing hands-on technical tasks on semiconductor process tools.
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes and tools.
