About the role
East Coast Lumber is seeking Equipment Center Non-CDL Drivers for full-time positions.
General Requirements
- One to two years’ driving experience
- Current driver’s license and clean driver’s record
- Be able to maintain a medical card
- Multi-tasking ability required
- Ability to handle administration tasks such as sales orders, signatures, driver’s log, timecards, etc.
- Must have a smart phone for text, email, GPS, Photos of Incidents, etc.
- Good communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Load and unload rental equipment for customers
- Must be able to get in and out of truck often in a safe manner
- Must be able to load and unload truck and trailers in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
- Carry customer product during the delivery
Target Responsibilities
- Check truck for pre-trip and post-trip, mileage logs, fuel Logs, etc.
- Avoid accidents and follow all state and federal motor vehicle rules and regulations
- Clean truck
- Deliver equipment on time
Daily Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick-up and deliver rental equipment for customers
- Pick-up and deliver customer serviced equipment
- Have a positive attitude toward customers
- Complete daily Vehicle inspection report
- Clean work area including truck cab
