Human ResourcesFull-time
We are committed to transparent, fair, and equitable recruitment processes. As an anchor organisation, we pride ourselves on our diverse and committed workforce and embed equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in all we do through our "EDI Everyday" initiatives.
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly under-represented groups including disabled people and members of Black and minority ethnic communities.
- Interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for a job vacancy and consider them on their abilities.
- Ensure a mechanism is in place to discuss, at least once a year, with disabled employees how to support their development and use of abilities.
- Make every effort to retain employees who become disabled.
- Take action to ensure all employees develop appropriate disability awareness.
- Annually review commitments, plan improvements, and report progress to employees and Jobcentre Plus.
Staff Networks
We encourage staff to join networks that promote equality, diversity, and inclusion:
- Disability and Wellness Network
- Women's Network
- Faith and Belief Network
- Green Champion Network
- Men's Network
- Parents and Carers
- Race Equality Network
- Rainbow Network
- CLCH Cycle Network
