Epoxy Process Engineering Technician
U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance. An active and existing security clearance is required from day one.
About the role
Our multi-disciplined Process Engineering team performs hands-on problem solving in a collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are subject matter experts for processes and materials in a cleanroom environment focused on radiofrequency (RF) microelectronic packaging and surface mount technology. This hands-on role confronts new projects and challenges daily, requiring cross-functional collaboration in both cutting-edge automation and mature production processes.
We develop and implement materials and process improvements while providing production support using analytical techniques such as statistical process control, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. We evaluate materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities
- Support the Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 clean room environment) in high-volume, high-mix production with on-site responsiveness to equipment, process, material, and product problems.
- Support assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment and Radiofrequency (RF) Assembly.
- Work hand-in-hand with product engineers, quality engineers, reliability engineers, and manufacturing engineers on product manufacturing.

- Evaluate materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with automated assembly equipment.
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems, MS Word, and Excel.
- Experience in a clean room environment, following clean room and electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures.
- Experience with automated dispense, pick-and-place, and curing processes.
- Experience working on a team.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
This role is for 3rd shift, onsite position (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM).
Pay
The salary range for this role is 60,000 USD – 114,000 USD. The range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered when extending an offer include role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
