Epoxy Flooring Installer

About the role

Canyon Painting, LLC is seeking an Epoxy Flooring Installer to join a dynamic field team expanding specialized surface coating capabilities across Sedona and the Verde Valley. This full‑time position (Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime and early‑morning starts) involves residential, commercial, and industrial concrete coating projects. A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is required.

The Opportunity

You will work on high‑grade concrete transformation projects, mastering modern equipment and coating materials while receiving steady, year‑round work, continuous technical skill development, and structured mentorship for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete surface preparation using heavy floor grinders, patch compounds, and crack repair tools to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
• Accurately measure, mix, and apply epoxy, polyaspartic, and decorative concrete coating systems according to strict company specifications.
• Protect adjacent walls and fixtures while maintaining a clean, highly organized, and safe job site at all times.
• Load, unload, and safely transport heavy equipment, coating materials, and specialized tools to various project sites.
• Safely operate surface preparation equipment, power tools, and personal protective equipment in compliance with company standards.
• Inspect completed floor systems to verify coating depth, uniform finish quality, and overall durability before client handoff.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting (50+ lbs), kneeling, bending, and standing for extended durations.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and a clean driving history required for company vehicle authorization.
• Positive team‑oriented attitude with willingness to adapt to varied daily project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in epoxy flooring, concrete preparation, grinding, polishing, or specialty trade contracting.
• Background in general construction, painting, or flooring installation methodologies.
• Current OSHA safety certification or equipment operation experience (e.g., forklifts or concrete grinders).

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly rate between $18.00 and $27.00 based on prior field experience.
