About the role
Join Kaloutas as an Industrial Flooring Installer and support commercial and industrial flooring projects throughout the Northeast. You'll work alongside experienced Foremen, Field Managers, and fellow installers to deliver high-quality flooring solutions. This role offers opportunities for growth and development while contributing to diverse projects.
Responsibilities
- Preparing concrete and other flooring surfaces
- Operating grinders and other surface-preparation equipment
- Installing epoxy and resinous flooring systems
- Assisting with polished concrete applications
- Mixing and applying flooring materials
- Measuring areas and calculating material needs
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Following all company and jobsite safety requirements
- Working as part of a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule
Requirements
- Be dependable, punctual, and consistent with attendance
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Pay close attention to detail and quality
- Communicate professionally with teammates and supervisors
- Be comfortable with basic jobsite math, including multiplication, division, square footage, ratios, and unit conversions
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a smartphone or mobile device
- Be able and willing to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Follow all company and jobsite safety policies
- Be comfortable working in an active commercial or industrial construction environment
Previous epoxy, polished concrete, concrete preparation, or commercial flooring experience is a plus.
