Epidemiologist
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the goals and objectives of the Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (Tracking) CDC cooperative agreement.
Assist with maintaining and managing the Tracking data warehouse.
Assist environmental epidemiologists in facilitating data requests, data analysis, and reports to support public health investigations, and producing data reports required for the CDC cooperative agreement.
Ensure that the Tracking data views on Utah’s Public Health Tracking Network web portal is maintained and updated.
Provide analytical and epidemiological support for investigations in other areas of the Environmental Epidemiology Program.
Contribute epidemiological expertise on national tracking workgroups.
Communicate to the public when needed as it relates to the position.
Qualifications
- Master of Public Health (MPH, MSPH) degree or higher
- Ability to clearly communicate and write in English
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- A high level of competency in the use of modern technology for presentation, communication, and collaboration using both software and hardware
