About the role

Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operation and upkeep of a critical data center facility, with a primary focus on mechanical systems including HVAC equipment such as chillers and cooling towers.
- Monitor system performance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and complete repairs to ensure reliable, continuous operation.
- Take ownership of the building as a whole, handling general facility needs such as plumbing, fire protection, fuel systems, and basic building maintenance tasks.
- Identify issues, prioritize work, and take action with minimal oversight while maintaining high standards for the facility.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans, and use judgment to know when to work independently and when to engage remote subject matter experts.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Relocation to Rochester, MN area (relocation assistance available).
- COVID-19 vaccination.
- 3 years' experience with commercial mechanical systems (a plus).
- Hands-on, self-directed approach.
