Epic Rochester - Mechanical Facilities Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve mechanical systems including chillers and cooling towers.
• Monitor system performance and diagnose/troubleshoot issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs.
• Handle general facility needs such as plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems.
• Identify issues, prioritize work, and take action with minimal oversight.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans.
• Show judgment to know when to work independently and when to engage remote subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, self-directed approach.
• Experience with commercial mechanical systems (3+ years preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans.
• Judgment to know when to work independently and when to engage remote subject matter experts.
