Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst II
Job Duties
Supports the business in identifying optimal technical solutions for issues and processes regarding Epic Professional Billing (PB) and/or Epic Professional Billing (PB) Remittance & Claims, ensuring seamless integration with other business and technology systems.
Prepares business work plans to support analysis and the testing of system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.
Provides support for configuring, implementing, and maintaining technical requirements across development, staging, and production environments.
Evaluates work processes, assesses the feasibility of small to medium project requests, and resolves operational issues.
Develops clear, concise specifications and accompanying documentation as assigned or as needed.
Plans, develops, and executes comprehensive test scenarios to ensure thorough validation.
Affords assistance in developing technology standards.
Affords assistance in estimating resources required for task completion.
Completes assigned tasks by the due date or documents any variances
Minimum Qualifications
- HS Diploma required
- 1 year EHR Epic Professional Billing and/or Epic Professional Billing Remittance & Claims application build, implementation and support experience
- 4 years Progressive experience in information services or combination of information Services and direct Health Care experience
- Small to medium -scale implementation/upgrades
- Test Plan development
- Information Technology Experience and/or Healthcare Operations Experience
- Project Management of Large Initiatives
- Implementation/Upgrade Support
- Applications Planning, Development and Implementation
- Technical Collaboration (e.g. Interfaces, Hardware and Reporting)
- EPIC Certification(s) –Resolute Professional Billing Administration and/or Resolute Professional Billing Claims & Remittance Administration
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree Computer Science or Healthcare
- 2-4 years of direct applications build on current software version
- 3-5 years progressive experience in Information Services or combination of Information Services and direct Health Care experience
