About the role

The Epic Principal Trainer – Resolute HB/PB works collaboratively with operational leaders, Information Systems teams, project teams, and Credentialed Trainers to develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate Epic training programs related to Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) applications. This role is responsible for the development, governance, and continuous improvement of the Epic education program for assigned applications, including curriculum, training environments, instructional standards, and educational initiatives supporting implementations, system upgrades, and workflow optimization. The Principal Trainer serves as the primary educational resource for assigned Epic applications and workflows including charge entry, coding review, claims management, payment posting, denial follow-up, and patient billing workflows. This role applies adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to develop effective educational programs, provide functional leadership and mentoring to Credentialed Trainers, coordinate Epic credentialing activities, and ensure consistent delivery of standardized Epic education throughout the organization.
