Epic PB, HB and Claims Analyst

Job Summary

NCDHHS is seeking an experienced Epic PB, HB and Claims Analyst. Key responsibilities include analyzing and documenting business requirements, testing system changes, acting as a primary support contact, guiding workflow design, and troubleshooting technical issues.

• May be required to work after hours or on weekends as needed
• Infrequent travel

Experience and Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with Epic PB, HB, and Claims
• 5+ years of progressive revenue cycle/healthcare experience with Epic certification
• Ability to work in small groups under tight project deadlines
• Knowledge of revenue cycle billing, hospital billing, professional billing, and claims processing operations and workflows
• Experience with third-party vendors such as Experian, Relay Health, and Hyland OnBase
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Self-starter with demonstrated teamwork & communication skills

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years’ experience in directly related field
• Epic module certification as assigned
• Epic HB/PB Claims Certification
