Epic PB Claims Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, configuration, and optimization of Epic Professional Billing (PB) Claims workflows
• Support all phases of the Epic implementation lifecycle, including planning, design, build, testing, training, go-live, and post-live stabilization
• Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and develop effective solutions
• Configure and maintain PB Claims functionality supporting claim generation, claim edits, claim transmission, denial management, and reimbursement workflows
• Analyze existing billing processes and recommend workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and claims performance
• Participate in integrated testing, UAT, issue resolution, and system validation activities
• Provide subject matter expertise on professional billing claims processes and Epic best practices
• Troubleshoot claim-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions
• Develop documentation, workflow diagrams, and training materials as needed
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and implementation objectives are achieved

Required Qualifications

• Current Epic Professional Billing (PB) Claims certification
• Proven experience supporting Epic implementations within a healthcare environment
• Strong understanding of professional billing claims workflows, revenue cycle operations, and claims management processes
• Hands-on experience with Epic build, configuration, testing, and optimization
• Able to lead discussions, facilitate meetings, and collaborate across technical and operational teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
